In numerology, every number counts, including your age. Your age is a subtle vibration that you are moving through at any given time. Here, we will talk about the “Age Digit” or “Highlight Number”. In any given year we are two different ages unless the birthday is Jan 1. However, that does not change the following system.
Finding your age/highlight number
The highlight number is the sum total of the age you are currently, and the age you will be on the next birthday. You take each age, reduce them to a single digit, then add them, and reduce if need be.
Example:
In 2000, Bob was 20, but on his birthday later that year, he turns 21.
2+0=2.
2+1=3.
2+3=5.
Bob’s highlight number is 5. The highlight number changes from birthday to birthday.
Example 2:
Dennis was 44 in 2022, but he would be 45 later that year.
4+4=8
4+5=9
8+9=17
1+7=8
Dennis will be in an 8 highlight until his birthday that year, in which case it will switch to a 1 highlight.
Meaning of the highlight number
The highlight numbers do not go in order as you will see. Instead of going 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9, the cycle is 1 3 5 7 9 2 4 6 8.
Your Age Digit points to your attitude, approach, energy level, sense of security — or lack thereof — etc., and thereby tends to influence the way you deal with what your other cycles bring to the foreground. The result can be positive or negative, depending, in large part, on the nature of your Personal Year and Essence cycles. The personal year and age/highlight number are always tied together in your cycles. For example, Bob had a 2 year in 2000, with a 5 age/highlight. Each time Bob has a 2 year, it will be under the 5 age number that switches to 7 on his birthday in those years.
