This Full Moon in Taurus at 13 degrees is calling for us to get out of our own way. Most of the time we operate on the premise, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The problem is we can’t see where things are broke. The Moon is currently in its exaltation in Taurus. This means that the Moon is being treated like an honored guest. It’s hard to give up being pampered and the luxury of comfort. This Full Moon is calling for us to release the methodical comfort that we’ve been so accustomed to. We’ve set the parameters and believe the world should operate according to the rules that we’ve programmed in our personal bubbles. This energy can lead us to view the world with blinders. We’ve developed our own understanding of the world, identified how it works, and have kept ourselves stuck in the comfort that we’ve created. It’s not a bad thing to develop routines, habits, rituals, and even idiosyncrasies. But sometimes those things only work on an individual level. In the spirit of integration and expansion, we have to move beyond our personal comfort and allow what brings the most unease to transformation to something new.

As it is retrograde it is identifying the uniqueness of the duality of people, collective relationships, how people think and communicate. Mars in Sagittarius is taking a more direct approach or hands on learning. Whereas Uranus, is going to take a more stand-offish approach or have a detached perspective. Venus Factor
Venus in Libra is at home. In Libra, Venus is not just promoting harmony, balance, and diplomacy, but it is the personification of these qualities. Here Venus is about culture and relationships. Venus at 28 degrees takes an intuitive approach to feeling into the needs of others in order to bring balance to the relationships and situations. Venus is opposing Chiron in Aries retrograde at 24 degrees. Chiron is looking to heal internally by taking on the pain head on then dissolving the pieces and situations that no longer fit, then implementing new scenarios that bring improvement. This opposition will require some self-examination in order to determine how to meet the other party half way.
Then Venus in Libra squares Jupiter in Cancer at 25 degrees. Jupiter in this particular placement wants to swoop in, give you a big, and pull whatever is bothering you clear out of the picture. Jupiter can possibly begin to over teach, preach, or instruct in this placement. Jupiter’s focus on nurturing and security may rub up the wrong way to Venus’ need to harmonize. The energy needed to resolve this square is the ability to blend processes with precision and hierarchy. Example, seeing how to implement the security, then circling back to see what the situation needs, next giving a big hug, and then encourage open conversation to work things out.
Jupiter Factor
Jupiter being a slower moving planet along with Chiron is still in a square again with Chiron in Aries retrograde at 24 degrees just 1 degree higher at 25 degrees. Jupiter’s approach has slightly changed, but the friction still remains. This also keeps Jupiter in T-square as it was with the New Moon in Libra. This time Venus has entered the fray to complete the new T-square. Jupiter has to be mindful in its nurturing approach not to overwhelm the situation and balance the needs of others with its influence and protection.
