April’s first full moon in Libra

Full Moon In Libra

Written by Lorenzo Jones: Astrologer, Numerologist, and member of Core Confidence Lifestyle

Full Moon in Libra at 12 degrees

This Full Moon in Libra is asking us to release the passiveness, detachment, and self-sacrificing you’ve done for the sake of the whole. The whole being community, family, and friends.  This Full moon is asking us, “for the sake of harmony, how much of you has been suppressed?” We’ve played the mediator, the counselor, the negotiator, and the advocate for so many others, but have we done the same for ourselves?  During all the balancing, blending, and remaining neutral, did the integrity of the whole or group remain intact?  Think of being on a seesaw with someone who weighs less than you.  In order to balance the seesaw, you have to manipulate your weight or mass to present the visualization or display of balance.  In truth, we’ve reduced our impact to make other’s contributions greater.  We can’t maintain balance, if we ourselves remain imbalanced.

Sun in Aries at 12 degrees

The Sun in Aries is requesting that we show up.  Showing up by being present, compassionate, and assertive.  This is the energy of being the example of the outcome you want to see.  Allowing yourself to become that example.  Sometimes we have to clear the path for others in order for them to know that it can be done.  When you share your ideas and creativity with others it creates a well of inspiration that others can draw from.  Your initiative and leadership make inspiration tangible.  By taking action, you become the illustration or visual aid needed; the spark which ignites the flame.  When enough footprints walk through the brush, it will become a smooth path.

Aspects to Look Out for

Aries Stellium

During this Full Moon, the opposing Sun in Aries has some accompanying energies in this initiatory fire sign.  Here we have Chiron at 25 degrees, Saturn at 5 degrees and Neptune 2 degrees.  This “I AM” wound of Chiron is battling with trying to understand and know who they truly are.  This is the type of energy that can cause one to lash out in frustration with loud abrasive outburst.  They can make impulsive decisions for rebellion’s sake alone.  These individuals do possess the ability to see who others are with almost instant understanding.  They will help others fill the hole in their heart and head; they can’t seem to fill themselves.  Saturn at 5 degrees is here for a quick creative fix to hierarchal situations.  Saturn the planet of time, restrictions, and organization usually drags things out and constantly tests, tests, and tests to make sure that something is working properly.  This energy in Aries is looking to bring these ideas and items to market as soon as possible with minimal delay.

Neptune at 2 degrees is looking to create.  Neptune the planet of spirituality, creation, inspiration, and compassion is fueled with the power of initiation in Aries.  At 2 degrees the inspiration may lean in the direction of items of comfort and beauty.

Pluto in Aquarius at 5 degrees square Venus in Taurus at 2 degrees

Pluto in Aquarius at 5 degrees is forging ahead for change.  It has shined a light on some of it’s darkest most conceal attributes it has and is drudging them up to the surface.  It is standing in the murk and facing adversity head on.  It is combining control and ingenuity with sheer will to initiate change.  Venus in Taurus at 2 degrees is reveling in its comfort.  It is comfortable in who they are and see no reason to disrupt the current balance.  Venus is pretty grounded here and loving it.  The conflict lies in knowing what you can become versus remaining complacent it the accomplishments that you already have.  The energy needed to resolve this challenge is to systematically integrate pathways to improvement that allow you to hold on to your current peace.  If you normally walk 5,000 steps a day, slowly add an additional 50 until you reach the next thousand.  Walk 6,000 for a little until you begin adding increments of 50 again.

Mars in Pisces at 23 degrees sextile Uranus in Taurus at 28 degrees

Mars in Pisces at 23 degrees is the initiation of inspiration and a pathway to creativity.  This energy has the potential to knock at the doors of your wellsprings and continue to tap it until the fountain becomes a geyser.  Mars is not comfortable becoming vulnerable in signs like Cancer and Pisces, but if it stays to true to its initiatory form, it can unlock the path to muses.  Uranus in Taurus at 28 degrees has traversed the sign of comfort, value, & diligence and is at the brink of mastery.  Uranus who is known for rebellion, innovation, and quick change has learned the benefit of slower transition in the sign of Taurus.  At 28 degrees, Uranus is intuitively engaging and selectively changing what is necessary.  The sextile between these two energies provides the opportunity for seed planting.  Mars has the ability to move through the imagination and harness the full range of creative energy, while Uranus in Taurus assists in grounding the energy into a garden of possibilities that can sprout formations of fascination.

Jupiter Factor

Jupiter the planet of growth, luck, expansion, and wisdom plays a pivotal role during this Full Moon in Libra.  It provides a challenge to our release point (Full Moon) as well to our embodiment (Sun).  It makes us ask the question, “What is needed for me to become who I need to be.”  In addition, it is also lending a helping hand to Mercury in Pisces.  During this Full Moon period, Jupiter still sits in its exaltation or where it is an honored guest.  At 15 degrees, it has developed the ability to feel into multiple areas at once.  It is exploring the lessons to be grasped from these individual assignments and learning their benefits to teach others.  The lessons being curated by Jupiter holds depth and will provide a nurturing transformation.  The challenge it provides to the Full Moon and the Sun is like a check point and sometimes a speed bump.  It is showing where additional attention is needed to complete this journey.  The Full Moon is learning to release imbalances and passiveness, but in order to the Sun or the boldness of oneself, we have to determine our emotional state.  In other words, how stable are my emotions?

For the transition from the Full Moon to Jupiter, courage and grace are needed to push oneself ahead.  For the transition from Jupiter to the Sun, there is an integration of self that has to be recognized.  Taking in the pieces of yourself that others may have cast out or look down on you for at some point.  Luckily during this transit, we can look to Uranus in Taurus as tangible placement.

As I mentioned, we also have Mercury in Pisces at 14 degrees.  Mercury is doing its best to grasp abstract concepts in Pisces and allow emotions to become the primary language, when its natural languages are logic and practicality.  At 14 degrees, Mercury is diligent in working to grasp the ideas of love, pain, and joy into a frame work that makes sense.  The trine to Jupiter helps Mercury take the details of its accounts, and summarize them into their own unique categories.
