Full Moon in Aquarius

Full Moon in Aquarius at 6 degrees

The Full Moon in Aquarius at 6 degrees is asking us, “Will you sit at the table?”  This question, prompts us to ask, “why won’t we sit down?”  Aquarius being the “water bearer” or holder of emotions, can compartmentalize emotions, events, ideas, and even people.  At 6 degrees, there is a level of surgical precision to identify how things work; not just for oneself, but for the world at large.  This placement can move on autopilot reworking and rewriting operating processes for all things.  This places the moon’s nature of desiring to care in a heightened state without the emotional attachment to the outcome.  This is like the mom who slaves over the holiday dinner, but doesn’t take to time to partake herself.  This is the time to release the detached service approach towards intimate and communal situations.  This is the time to sit in these experiences and revel in the achievement of them along with those who benefit.  Listen to the feedback and celebrate their accomplishments with them.  This Full Moon is pleading for us not to fade away in our eccentricities, rebellions, and detachment.

Pluto in Aquarius at 4 degrees retrograde conjunct the Full Moon opposing Sun and Jupiter in Leo at 6 degrees

Pluto in Aquarius is still in play at 4 degrees, but now is conjunct the Full Moon.  As the Full Moon separates from the reflection of Pluto in retrograde, Pluto may seek control instead of flow.  This connection during this period of release is to assist the Moon in purging all that doesn’t serve it.  The energy emanating during this period is from the connection between the unconscious and subconscious minds.  This brings awareness to the dormant thoughts and experiences.  This period of release is also requesting us not to dismiss the efforts contributed in making these changes possible.  During this Full Moon, there is natural tendency to feel secure while integrating our new cycles.  The Full Moon is encouraging us to shift from security to support by sharing our transformative experiences.

Sun in Leo at 6 degrees opposing the Full Moon in Aquarius

The Sun in Leo is teaching us to stand up front and center.  The Sun in Leo is at home and commands attention; no requests needed.  At 6 degrees, it is here to instruct us on how to integrate our improvements and become a living example of how to creatively develop change.  This energy helps us understand that it is okay to share your accomplishments and express to others the journey we’re on.  This energy develops a comfortability in sharing its trials and tribulations, knowing the wisdom of their experience can aid other in clearing a path along the way.  It’s like the grandparents that share stories on how they met or endured their hardships over the years.  The lesson here is to incorporate our combined expertise to create harmony in our lives.  The reflection that we cast will inspire others to do the same.

Jupiter in Leo at 6 degrees conjunct Sun in Leo opposing the Full Moon in Aquarius

As stated during the New Moon, Jupiter in Leo is an auspicious placement which brings wisdom, luck, and creativity to any arena it touches.  Jupiter’s energy being only second to the Sun is creating a dynamic duo effect as they connect during this Full Moon.  Jupiter has the ability to expand all that it touches and that’s no exception with the Sun.  The spotlight will appear to be bigger and your presence felt further.  At 6 degrees conjunct the Sun, there is an additional confidence boost, heightened understanding, and a feeling that your Midas touch has upgraded to platinum.  Where the Sun shined the light on what, when, and how, Jupiter adds a magnifying glass allowing the process to be placed on the big screen.  Jupiter here with the Sun assists in making judgement-based decisions the even out the playing field.  There is one caveat to this relationship.  These energies are two titans who don’t fall short on confidence.  Be careful not to over impose your lived experiences upon someone else.  Be mindful to maintain the benevolence and generosity of Leo during this period.

Aspects to Look Out for

Mercury in Cancer at 17 degrees sextile Venus in Virgo at 21 degrees

Mercury is now direct again in Cancer and the retrograde is complete.  The internal lessons acquired by Mercury during that time can now be expressed fully.  Mercury is adding to its lessons on emotional intelligence and how to emote properly.  As the messenger, it is also learning how to receive these messages as well.  At 17 degrees, Mercury is here to convey their encounters with transformative nurturing.  There is depth in the internal process Mercury has undertaken during the retrograde.  It is able to deliver from a hokey-pokey type of position, meaning that it is able to have one foot in and one foot out.  This enables Mercury to reach into its toolkit to connect the areas of logic and emotion.

Venus in Virgo is still dealing with accountability.  Here Venus is in constant review of her actions as well as determining which of these actions brings balance, love, and comfort.  At 21 degrees, Venus seeks to combine a broader understanding with the minute details it has documented along the way.  Here Venus seeks the higher level of truth in her processes.  This is similar to a pitcher analyzing the finger placement on a pitch for a drop ball or a gymnast studying their form to acquire optimal balance during a routine.

This sextile relationship between Mercury in Cancer and Venus in Virgo creates an opportunity to ground one’s emotions.  This connection also develops the ability to convey one’s emotional experience with eloquence.  It is a difficult at times to tell others how we feel about them and this relationship aids in smoothing out the tension.  The combined energy of Cancer and Virgo wants to heal others and create a sustainable foundation to carry this out.  With Mercury and Venus working together, it enables an optimal implementation of a harmonious process.

Mars in Gemini at 21 degrees square Venus in Virgo at 21 degrees

Mars in Gemini still has the quick wit, retorts, and action-oriented nature.  Mars’ passions for learning, communicating, and engaging in community hasn’t subsided just yet.  At 21 degrees, it becomes slightly more inquisitive and wants to explore how the part connects to the whole.  In other words, it wants to see how the local community is part of the county and state.  It needs to understand how movements in the city impact what happens in the country.
Venus in Virgo is also exploring but its efforts are to bring balance, whereas Mars is initiating the conversation.  This is the like the emissary who delivers a message on a short visit (Mars) versus the diplomat who seeks to establish long-term relations (Venus).  The conflict between the two signs is concept vs application then between the planets is initiation vs attraction.  The energetic solution is to slowly initiate the short-term concept intuitively then determine if further integration is required to maintain the relationship.
