Full Moon in Aquarius at 16 degrees

Full Moon in Aquarius is requesting us to release our current approach to creativity and leadership. Our initiations have been routine, lacking passion and empathy. We’ve moved forward with partial understanding and scattered focus. In addition, we’ve let pride and arrogance counter the insight needed to be fruitful. This full moon is requesting us to release this energy. It’s time to begin a cycle of being more focused and present for ourselves as well as others when we stand in these roles.

Sun in Leo at 16 degrees

The Sun is encouraging us to show up with certainty. Certainty in ourselves, abilities, understandings, and expressions. This placement is where passion is the key to ignite the ignition. This is where our understandings are expressed, and innovations implemented. This placement contains the energetics of mental initiations and engagement. So, when our passions are ignited and ideas burn bright, they must be expressed & shared with others. Remember Leo is the Sun’s throne. So, when other’s look to you for your leadership, guidance, or influence, embrace it and honor their request. You shine simply because you do. If you become another’s lighthouse during their storm, guide them to shore.

Aspects to Look out for

Jupiter at 13 degrees conjunct Venus at 10 degrees in Cancer

Jupiter in Cancer at 13 degrees is at a critical degree. This placement is teaching and expanding the idea mental selfcare. This placement connects the self to emotions while enabling the understanding for transformation and selfcare. It pushes inner desires to the forefront for acknowledgement. In other words, it lets you know it’s okay to pamper yourself. This is a time to recharge your battery. This is your permission slip to focus on you.

Venus in Cancer at 10 degrees is operating in a similar energy. Venus is seeking tools to comfort, bring itself emotional stability, and potentially self-soothe. Venus is also looking to fulfill inner desires and transform to high levels of comfort.

In a conjunction, planets are working as one unit. With Jupiter’s ability to expand and Venus’ ability to attract, there is a potential to over-do the selfcare and comforting, then become a little indulgent and lazy. Learn the lessons, fill the cup, and embrace the stability, but remember to share the wealth and assist others in obtaining this accomplishment.

Mercury retrograde in Leo at 4 degrees opposing Pluto retrograde in Aquarius at 2 degrees

Mercury retrograde in Leo at 4 degrees creates a reflection period, introduction delays in how we process, adapt, and communicate our emotions. This placement can cause internalizations in our mental and physical expressions, sometimes creating a mental fog. During this period, Mercury can find itself working through timidness to find and regain its confidence.

Pluto also finds itself in retrograde slowing down its process of transformation. At 2 degrees in Aquarius, this can extend the time that suppressed thoughts and ideas transition into the conscious mind for acknowledgement impeding Aquarius’ ability to remove outdated processes.
The opposition between Mercury and Pluto becomes a tug-a-war between the conscious and unconscious mind. Mercury’s current reflection period focuses on active ideas and developing a strategy release those into the world. Pluto’s slow down increases the challenge to recognize issues when they finally make their way to the surface. How to find compromise? The balance between minds comes with acknowledgement and integration. While processing those active thoughts, acknowledge then integrate those unassuming notions into the rotation. Whether it’s a thought from last week or last decade, allow it to come active and give it a voice.

Mystical Kite

The Mystical Kite which is comprised of the Grand Air Trine between Pluto in Aquarius at 2 degrees, Uranus in Gemini at 1 degree, and Mars in Libra at 1 degree. The top of the Kite is the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in Aries at 1 degree which form sextiles to Pluto and Uranus as well as an opposition to Mars in Libra. This astrological formation contains five harmonious aspects and one challenge. This challenge can be viewed as the release point or stabilization factor. The air element of the Grand Trine focuses on intellect and relationships. The sextiles provide a situation where that energy can be put into a passion and create additional opportunities.

Mars in Libra is the assertive energy of this Grand Trine and tail of the Kite. With in the Grand Trine Mars is the initiator pushing for diplomacy, balance, and equity. This is the crusader. When this energy interacts with Uranus in Gemini, it can shift our interactions in social settings, noticing the individuality of people and the moments. This allows increase processing speed of Uranus in Gemini to modify circumstances to promote inclusiveness. When it interacts with Pluto in Aquarius, it expands the scope to assist the retrograded Pluto push those “unsaid” issues to the surface to be transformed and removed. The interaction between Uranus and Pluto permits the thoughts and actions of localized individuals to transition to the collective, increasing the scope and scale of change.

The sextiles to Saturn and Neptune in Aries brings focus back to the self. This creates the circumstance for the self to establish change within the moment and within themselves. The Aries energy which is assertive and impulsive at times can transition according to the given circumstance. Neptune dissolves boundaries creating new processes and Saturn test boundaries in order to create structure. With these to planets also being retrograde, this process will be more internal than external. The challenge found between the head and tail of the kite is the processing speed and vehicle of change. Aries travels in crafts of passion fueled by fire and Libra travels in crafts of intellect fueled by air. The key to balance is understanding what sparks passion and how you or the “I am” fits into the grand scheme. Remember that for a kite to maintain flight, it must be in flow with the current.
